Helping Cultural Change:
Change is so common that not changing sounds strange. Change can happen in many ways. Most change is perceived as moving from a given social situation into what people think is a better one. We don’t do that. We see change as an inherent feature of culture and help organisations use it as a resource. Change is already immanent. We help how an organisation can thrive by knowing how to adapt, how to resolve conflicts, and how to move toward another way of working and thinking. Be on the move, stand still when needed, and move again when needed. Like dancing. Learn to dance.
Helping Resolve Conflicts:
There are many reasons conflicts arise in groups. We don’t mediate, because this produces exactly what the word suggests: the middle. Nobody will be happy, and soon new conflicts arise. We find out the underlying processes responsible for creating the conflict. We learn to see that the process is more important than the content of the conflict, while many try to solve the content instead. Conflict consumes enormous amounts of energy while rarely contributing to meaningful solutions. How can we use conflict to grow and change?
Knowledge Centre:
On all social and cultural issues we have worked with, we have gathered an extensive amount of scientific research, background information, examples of daily practice, and journalistic articles. This is updated and expanded daily. We can help you find all relevant information, and contact information, on any of the topics we work with.
Doing Research:
To give effective advice and create social interventions, we base our work on qualitative research methods. This can be done at all scales and in all settings. For this, we work with scientists worldwide, and our team includes several PhD students specialised in qualitative research methods and cultural diversity.
Creating network / exchange platforms:
One of our assets is our extensive network in the field of social issues, and our ability to create new connections. We can use our international network to help you further, resulting in lasting relationships. We frequently host exchange platforms, both live and online. There, all relevant partners contribute, based on equality and co-creation. Often, the people who are the subject of a policy do not interact with the people creating that policy. This is one of the ways we create this much-needed dialogue.
Conducting social interventions:
Most organisations, firms, and governments are part of the field they work in, meaning it can be difficult for them to think of possibilities outside their own scope. We build our experience in social interventions on the questions every society has about working and living together. Our contribution is not to improve on the ideas you have already tried, but to bring new concepts and possibilities to you, and help put them into practice. Our working methods are based on co-creation. We respect the fact that our clients know their world the best.
